Brief description:
This research develops advanced computational models to predict the crash performance of composite structures under impact loading. By capturing key damage mechanisms and their evolution using high-fidelity simulations, the study aims to improve the accuracy of crashworthiness predictions, including energy absorption and failure behavior. The validated framework will support the design and optimization of more reliable, highperformance composite crash structures for demanding engineering applications.
