Brief description:

This research explores the design and optimization of lightweight, high-performance auxetic sandwich structures for aerial drop safety applications, such as delivering medical supplies in disaster scenarios. By leveraging advanced metamaterial architectures and additive manufacturing, the study aims to enhance energy absorption, structural integrity, and reusability beyond conventional packaging systems. A combined numerical and experimental approach is used to develop and validate efficient, scalable designs. The outcomes are expected to enable robust and adaptable safety solutions for realworld emergency logistics, while contributing to advances in structural design and advanced manufacturing.
