Bandung – Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FMAE) ITB welcomed the visit of Labschool Kebayoran Senior High School (SHS) on Wednesday (14/09/22). These high school students in the 12th grade want to know more about FTMD ITB as one of the universities targeted after graduation. This visit is recognized as an annual agenda for Labschool Kebayoran SHS to give knowledge to their students about the campus environment that will be taken. 

When they arrived at FMAE ITB, the students went around the campus. At this moment, the students got information about the classroom, laboratories, and other facilities supporting the class activities. The students can also visualize the atmosphere of studying in ITB, especially in FMAE.

After the tour session was over, FMAE explained ITB and FMAE study programs. The information session was given by Ms. Indria Herman, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. She began with the history of the establishment of the ITB Campus. Then, she also explained in detail the curriculum, lesson plan, research programs, and careers of graduates from each study program in FMAE. She also highlighted the advantages the FMAE students have, such as the flexibility in choosing their study plan between student exchange, internship, or fast-track programs when they are in the 4th grade. At the end of this session, there was a question and answer session. 

This school visit ended by giving merchandise from Labschool Kebayoran to FMAE and taking group photos. This school visit is expected to motivate the students to be prospective students of FMAE ITB.
