Bandung – In commemoration of Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) held a ceremony at the football field on the Jatinangor Campus. The ceremony, attended by new students for the 2024/2025 academic year, faculty members and staff, was led by ITB’s Rector, Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D., on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

In a spirited atmosphere of nationalism, the ITB Rector presented awards to faculty members and staff who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication in their service to the institution. The Satyalancana Karya Satya and  Penghargaan Pengabdian ITB (ITB Awards for dedication over the years) were presented as a form of appreciation for tireless service up to 40 years. The award recipients from the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD) ITB exemplify that the faculty is not only a center of academic excellence but also a hub for individuals who make significant contributions to the development of science and technology in Indonesia.
