LG R&D Center is committed to enhancing the quality of future human resources through various initiatives, including scholarships, internships, and project sponsorships. These efforts aim to strengthen ties between industry and academia while providing talented Indonesian youth with opportunities to contribute to LG’s innovative and market-responsive product development.
The scholarship program offered by LG Research Center has unique advantages, including tuition fee coverage, monthly allowances, and a two-year contractual employment opportunity after graduation. This scheme not only provides financial support but also ensures promising career prospects for students.
As one of Indonesia’s leading technical institutions, FTMD ITB is renowned for producing accomplished graduates who have excelled in both private and public sectors. FTMD students are recognized for their potential to assist LG in driving innovations such as optimizing production processes, conducting product trials, and developing new product line models.
“This collaboration is expected to foster a mutually beneficial relationship where FTMD ITB students can make meaningful contributions to LG’s technological advancements in the future,” stated Mr. Vincentius Adhityaputra.
Following this initial engagement, LG Research Center plans to hold scholarship program outreach sessions and further discussions regarding internships and project sponsorships. The scholarship is open to 8th-semester undergraduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.00, proficiency in English, and a commitment to working for two years post-graduation.
Through this initiative, LG aims to nurture talented young individuals who can become key drivers of technological innovation in Indonesia.
