Bandung – PT Komatsu Indonesia once again demonstrated its strong commitment to recruiting top talent by organizing the “Komatsu Goes to Campus” event at the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD) ITB on Monday, July 29, 2024. This event highlights that FTMD ITB is not just an institution of higher learning but also a gateway to a promising future in the industrial world.

Present at the event, Mr. Pratjojo Dewo, Chairman of Komatsu Indonesia and an alumnus of Mechanical Engineering ITB class of 1983, emphasized the importance of collaboration between education and industry in shaping human resources that are not only competent but also globally competitive. “Komatsu is committed to continuing to support education in Indonesia through various programs and collaborations with universities,” said Pratjojo.

This event attracted not only current FTMD students but also recent graduates eager to pursue careers at one of the leading companies in the heavy equipment sector. They were given the golden opportunity to engage directly with Komatsu representatives about the recruitment process, the required qualifications, and the various employee development programs offered by the company.

Once again, FTMD ITB proves its strength as one of Indonesia’s leading faculties capable of producing high-quality graduates that meet industry needs. During this event, PT Komatsu Indonesia opened two main recruitment programs: the New Employee Development Program (NEDP) and the Internship Program (MBKM). The selection process was conducted on-site, including various written tests such as psychological tests and academic potential tests.

This collaboration reinforces FTMD ITB’s position as a strategic partner of the industrial world, focusing not only on academic curriculum development but also on empowering students through direct industry experience.
