FTMD ITB Ranks #1 in Indonesia Across Mechanical, Aeronautical & Materials Science (QS WUR 2026)
Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) has once again solidified its international standing in the QS World University Rankings (WUR) by Subject 2026. In this latest release, the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD) ITB contributed significantly by placing two of its primary disciplines at #1 in Indonesia:

Strategic Impact on ITB’s Global Recognition
Overall, ITB successfully placed 16 disciplines in the global rankings—up from 15 subjects in the previous year—with 13 subject areas securing the top position in Indonesia. Notable progress was also achieved in the Broad Subject Area, where ITB’s Engineering & Technology climbed to 216th globally (up from 282nd).
