Bandung, Monday, March 30, 2026 – The Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD) of the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) held a gathering for Eid al-Fitr 1447 H in the East Hall of ITB Ganesha. This event took place concurrently with the ITB-wide Halalbihalal event held in the West Hall of ITB Ganesha.

The event, themed “Essence of Hablum Minannas”, served as a platform to strengthen connections among the academic community, retired lecturers, and educational staff within FTMD and ITB. ITB Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, and his family attended the Halalbihalal event for FTMD. They were joined by the Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Lavi Rizki Zuhal, and his family. The event followed a series of activities held in the West Hall, fostering vibrant, meaningful camaraderie at the 2026 FTMD Halalbihalal gathering.

The event was opened by MCs Januar and Salwa, followed by remarks from the Dean of FTMD ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hermawan Judawisastra, M.Eng. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of maintaining good relations as part of the values of togetherness that support a harmonious and productive academic environment.

The event then continued with a spiritual sermon and prayer delivered by Ust. KH. Drs. Mochtar Cholid. In his sermon, he emphasized the meaning of hablum minannas as the foundation for building interpersonal relationships based on mutual respect, forgiveness, and strengthening brotherhood.

The series of events then continued with a friendly gathering and handshake session in a warm atmosphere that fostered togetherness among the academic community. This moment offered an opportunity to forgive one another and strengthen personal relationships among the academic community, retired faculty, and educational staff.

The event then continued with a group photo session, which took place in turns, starting with groups of lecturers and their families, then retired faculty and their families. After that, all lecturers, retired faculty, and educational staff did the photo session. This session served as a documentation of togetherness and a symbol of the solidarity of the FTMD ITB family.

Furthermore. the event concluded with entertainment and a shared lunch. Through this gathering, FTMD ITB hopes that the values of togetherness, kinship, and mutual support will be maintained in line with the theme and will strengthen synergy in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
